Why did I make a site?

I just love going to all these sites where they put up graphics, avatars, layouts, and other things. I've always been interested in coding and art so I decided to finally make myself a site and join them. Who knows? Maybe I'll even be up there some day.

Inspiration:

This is by far one of my definite favorites. I liked Star but I'd had it too long, at least to my eyes. And I wanted to work on fixing the constant bug I seem to have where my background mysteriously disappears in Firefox. Well, I kinda fixed it, but as of now the layout isn't quite what I want yet. In IE there's a little line to the right where the background accidentally repeats, and in Firefox the Navigation magically is too small for the content. I really don't understand it, but oh well, I'll fix it somehow.

This layout features many of my favorite earth tones-gold, burgundy, moss-and one of my favorite games, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. I've always loved the graphics and the music, so when I decided to make a new layout it just popped into my head. The fur is my favorite touch-I had to use a variety of techniques and brushes to make it, and I'm proud. The stitching on the right is also mine, an idea I had at about 2 AM and was unable to sleep until finishing it. ^_^;
